Los Angeles experienced widespread celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a thrilling seven-game World Series championship. Fans across the globe joined Angelenos in jubilation, marking the first time in 25 years that a team has secured consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Enormous Crowds
Los Angeles area celebrations featured a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a reserved-seating event at the team's home stadium, and impromptu gatherings across the city.
Online footage show thousands of Angelenos flooding city center avenues, many carrying handmade banners and team flags. The team was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the masses, raising the championship trophy proudly.
