Over twenty Olympic champions, trainers and further international athletes have signed a letter urging a stop to the execution of a boxing titleholder and coach, who is on death row in Iran.

Escalating Global Anger

Amid growing worldwide anger over Iran’s escalating use of executions as a instrument of oppression, the strongly worded letter censures the Iranian regime's decision to uphold the execution order of the athlete.
